A generic film look, with diffusion and grain effects.

Rec.709 vs LOOK

NOIRCONTRAST

A black & white -look with strong emphasis on textures and grain.

Rec.709 vs LOOK

CANDY

Soft saturated look, that is heavily inspired by Wes Anderson. Looks like candy, but can be easily modified to look more professional.

Rec.709 vs LOOK

BOLDGOLD

Build on top of the Gold 200 film developed to look bold and high contrast. Gives you a analog photo look with a punch.

Rec.709 vs LOOK

WARMTONE

Very warm and soft look, that works when you want to add a bit (a lot) of vintage warm to your footage.

A professional color negative film, introduced in 1998. Known for its natural skin tones, wide dynamic range, and fine grain.

Rec.709 vs EMULATION vs REAL FILM

Kodak Gold 200

A consumer-grade color negative film, introduced in the 1980s. Known for its warm tones and slight grain. Gives you nostalgic look, like old family photos of times you never saw.

COMPARE HDR REC.709 vs ANALOG ARTEFACTS

INCLUDES ANALOG ARTEFACT -TOOLS

TOOLS FOR REALISTIC

FILM EFFECTS

Analog Artefacts is a tool box of effect presets to add realistic analog film effects to your videos.

You can add and edit each individual effect individually.

COMPARE HDR REC.2020 vs HDR EMULATION

SUPPORTS HDR WORKFLOWS

⚠ ABOVE comparison only works AS HDR on supported browsers (Chrome) & when viewed on a HDR monitor.

NODE BASED
ACES Color managments

This workflow assume you do your own color managment, instead of using any of the Color managed workflows in DaVinci Resolve. BUT it's really easy to learn to do node based color management and there are tutorials inside this product for that.

WHO IS CREATING THE LOOK LIBRARY?

HI, I'M JOONAS!

I have more than a decade of experience with video production and thousands of hours spent understanding and playing with color.

I'm not the world leading color scientist or a hollywood level master colorist, but I might just be the best person to teach you how to make your videos look like movies.

I'm happy to help and answer any of your questions about this course or color grading in general.

ACES LITE - DISCLAIMER

Aces is a color encoding system developed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Aces Lite is a color grading workflow that uses part of the Aces system. Aces and Aces Lite are two different things. Aces Lite workflow is developed by me and I'm not associated with the Academy.
